GuidelinesOfficial UPVI Social Media Platforms 2020
Objective
To ensure the UPVI can inform, enable, inspire and mobilize the membership behind the the advocacies of the organization and promote a cordial relationship amongst the brods, the social media guidelines was approved by the Board of Governors.
A. IN GENERAL, VANGUARDS ARE EXPECTED TO:
1. Strive to live-up to the shibboleths of the UP Vanguard of honor, duty and country online and off-line
2. Promote a positive, reputable, competent and patriotic UP Vanguard image
3. Exercise proper language and decorum in using any social media tool
B. WHEN USING UPVI OFFICIAL PLATFORMS:
4. Limit posts to relevant organizational topics
5. Posting of personal, commercial and religious content is discouraged
6. Refrain from posting racist, sexist, gender insensitive, partisan and unverified news
7. Confine sensitive fraternity banter in other secured closed group platforms
C. Repeated violations of the social media guidelines, will result in outright deletion of offensive posts and after three (3) warnings, corresponding sanctions may be imposed as deemed fit by the Board of Governors (BOG)
