It has now become a tradition for the Vanguards to celebrate the Fraternal Monthly Birthday Fellowship Dinner every last Friday of the month, at 6:30 PM. The event is held at the Hall of Fame of the Vanguard Building; however, this year, we shall hold a couple or more of the fellowships in other locations. Announcements will be made accordingly in this website and through the usual e-groups and telephone.
Every month, aside from honoring the birthday celebrants, we shall also try to have a Brod talk about various topics – hopefully, interesting enough for the Brods. We started this last May, when topnotch toxicologist and pharmacologist, Vgd. Dr. Klenneth Hartigan –Go ’82, gave a talk about the Influenza A-H1N1.
For the fellowship on 26 June, we shall hear from Vgd. Lt.Col. Roland Rodil ’81 about the soft and hard facets of his experience in Compostela Valley as the Battalion Commander of the 25th IB.
Confirmed sponsors for the June Fellowship are birthday celebrants Vgd. Benny Letrondo ’62, Vgd. Joey Sumiller ’68, Vgd. Robert Jordan ’85. To you, and other celebrants, Happy Birthday, Brods! And thank you for allowing your Brods to become part of your celebration and thanksgiving.
Please watch out for more announcements (and the photos) regarding the monthly fellowship in this website. For suggestions you may e-mail Vgd. Florimon “Bojo” Bernardo ’92 (bojobernardo@yahoo.com).
