UP President Pascual Inducts UP Vanguard Board of Governors
University of the Philippines President Fred Pascual inducted the U.P. Vanguard, Inc. Board of Governors, Officers and Various Committee Chairmen last 16 June 2011 at the UP Executive House. About 150 Vanguards and their spouses, UP ROTC Cadets, Sponsors and friends crowded UP’s “White House” to witness this momentous event.
In his keynote speech, President Pascual recalled the glorious heritage of the Fraternity and expressed his honor and pride to be a Vanguard himself. He also praised the leadership of the U.P. Vanguard for its various projects and advocacies, most especially its Youth Leadership programs and scholarship grants. He likewise pledged to help revitalize the UP ROTC Program in every way he can as UP President.
